SK Broadband wins KOSHA chairman\'s award for industrial accident prevention

SK Broadband received a citation from the chairman of the Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency for its contribution to preventing industrial accidents and spreading a safety and health culture. The company won the award at a ceremony in Seoul and was the only recipient from the pay-TV industry. It has run prevention efforts through a dedicated safety unit and started fire safety consulting and regular training at key sites.

Hanbit Media said on July 9 it has published a new book, \"To You Who Are Afraid of AI: 14 Answers Sent by Vice Minister Bae Kyung-hoon,\" written by Bae Kyung-hoon, vice minister of South Korea\'s Ministry of Science and ICT. The book discusses how AI could change daily life in plain language. It answers 14 questions on concerns faced by parents, office workers and entrepreneurs and describes policy efforts such as 24-hour customised tax counselling, accident prevention and AI care for older people and children.
