Fortytwomaru said on Monday it will participate as a sponsor in the finals of the 2026 AI and software-focused universities digital competition, to be held at the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Seoul.
The competition is hosted and organised by the Institute of Information and Communications Technology Planning and Evaluation (IITP) and the AI and Software-focused Universities Association, and is sponsored by the Ministry of Science and ICT and related companies. A total of 1,088 people in 335 teams from 57 universities took part.
This year, it is being held under the theme of agentic AI, including the software category, "AI agent-based software development for lifestyle innovation", and the AI category, "AI agent action decision-making prediction challenge".
Fortytwomaru will select 1 team each in the software and AI categories to present the "Fortytwomaru Sponsoring Company Award" and provide employment benefits to the winning teams.
Fortytwomaru CEO Dong-hwan Kim (김동환) said, "We will continue our support and cooperation so that next-generation AI talent can demonstrate their capabilities in the industrial field."
