Samsung adds travel features to Samsung Wallet, integrating boarding passes, hotels and tickets

Samsung Electronics will launch a travel service called Samsung Wallet Trips to manage travel-related information in a single app. The company said it integrates travel details previously spread across platforms, including airline boarding passes, hotel reservations and tickets for theme parks and sports events, into Samsung Wallet. Galaxy users can manage itineraries via a trip timeline that sorts information by time and location, with memo and link features. Samsung said Knox-based security, encryption and biometric authentication protect access.

Samsung puts Bespoke AI Combo front and center in newlywed appliance push

Samsung Electronics has launched its 2026 Bespoke AI Combo, a washer-dryer with 25 kg washing and 20 kg drying capacity that completes wash-to-dry in 69 minutes on a rapid course. It unveiled a newlywed-focused appliance strategy at a media briefing in Seoul. The model redesigns its heat exchanger system and applies a pre-heat method to cut drying time and reduce power use by up to 35 percent. It also expands AI features and prioritises security over broader third-party connectivity.

Samsung Electronics smart monitor earns Common Criteria security certification, an industry first

Samsung Electronics said on Tuesday it has obtained an international security certification for its smart monitors for the first time. The company said its Samsung Knox security solution, installed in 2026 smart TVs and smart monitors, received Common Criteria certification, an international standard recognised by 36 countries. Samsung has maintained CC certification for smart TVs since 2015 and has now expanded the scope to smart monitors. The certification covered three core security functions.
