Inswave CTO says enterprise SDD to cope with AI-driven UI upheaval, real-time UI also in focus

Now is the best era for developers - five requirements for \'renaissance\' developers

Amazon Web Services said at AWS Summit Seoul 2026 that the AI era is the greatest time for developers and set out five requirements for so-called renaissance developers. Amazon CTO Werner Vogels cited simultaneous innovation in AI, space and robotics and listed curiosity, systems thinking, clear communication, ownership and versatility. AI-driven uncertainty spreads, expanding developers’ roles is key to change

Kim Hwan (김환), CTO of CJ Olive Young, said the key to adapting to uncertainty caused by AI is expanding developers’ roles beyond their specialties. Speaking at AWS Summit Seoul 2026, he said the retailer is hiring forward deployed engineers, setting up new teams and reshaping its organisation to speed decision-making. He said CJ Olive Young is building an AI-native development system on AWS and applying an AIDLC approach by combining AI with its SDLC.
