Kakao on April 29 launched a new \"Share Together\" feature on Kakaotalk Gifts that allows users to share vouchers with family members and acquaintances. The feature lets users share and manage vouchers with members of a family account, reducing the need to capture images or copy messages each time a voucher is shared. Users can create or join a family account in the \"Share Together\" tab and check expiry dates and usage status in real time.

Coupang has expanded its gift card sales channels from online to offline, starting physical gift card sales at Seven Eleven stores on March 31. The move comes as user metrics that fell after a personal data leak incident show signs of recovery in the first quarter. The company is seen as targeting non-members and dormant users, while also citing demand from corporate customers buying gift cards in bulk for welfare and marketing uses.
