Content platform operator Ridi has officially listed its Ridicash gift card on KakaoTalk Gift and expanded sales channels to major online platforms including Naver Plus Store and 11st, it said on Tuesday.
The expansion means the Ridicash gift card can now be purchased at any time on major commerce platforms. Previously, it was sold only on a limited basis during certain promotional periods or through selected channels. Buyers will now be able to purchase or gift it freely whenever they want.
The Ridicash gift card comes in three denominations: 10,000 won, 30,000 won and 50,000 won. It can be used across all Ridi categories including webtoons, web novels, comics and e-books.
A Ridi official said, "As digital content consumption becomes part of everyday life, content is also becoming established as a giftable product." The official added, "Through this channel expansion, we plan to extend the content purchase experience into everyday spending patterns."
