Apple foldable iPad may not launch, drops from roadmap
Apple’s foldable iPad may end at the internal testing stage without becoming a commercial product, a report said. Mark Gurman, described as familiar with Apple’s internal situation, said the device could remain a “strange experiment” that never sees the light of day. The report said the foldable iPad is not included in Apple’s next product roadmap, while the company is expected to prioritise a foldable iPhone and other new categories.

Tim Cook will step down as Apple’s chief executive on Sept. 1. He cited the 2012 launch of Apple Maps as his biggest mistake and named the Apple Watch as his proudest achievement.
