SK $500 billion, Samsung $200 billion: global AI deals unveiled
Around a San Francisco AI summit, South Korea unveiled government-led cooperation plans between global AI companies such as Nvidia, OpenAI and Broadcom and Korean firms including Samsung Electronics, SK Group, Hyundai Motor Group and Naver. Nvidia and SK Group disclosed a partnership intent worth more than $500 billion, while Samsung and Broadcom signed an MOU worth more than $200 billion through 2030. Nvidia and Brookfield also plan a $10 billion investment in Naver.

Sam Altman backs South Korea\'s \'AI for all\' vision, says infrastructure role is key
OpenAI CEO Sam Altman voiced support for the South Korean government\'s \"AI for all\" vision and said it requires bold investment in AI infrastructure. Speaking at an AI summit in San Francisco on July 24 local time, Altman said Korea\'s AI infrastructure projects would help the economy and people and play a key role in helping global AI advance to the next stage. He also met President Lee Jae-myung and held talks with SK Group Chairman Chey Tae-won, with a meeting planned with Samsung Electronics Chairman Jay Y. Lee.

Naver to raise $10 billion from Nvidia, Brookfield to expand AI factory globally
Nvidia and global alternative asset manager Brookfield plan to invest a total of $10 billion in Naver, the company said. Naver plans to use the investment to expand its gigawatt-scale AI factory business into global markets. Naver chairman Lee Hae-jin said the investment would help the company move to a new stage, and that the partners\' capital, brand and networks would support expansion. Naver previously unveiled plans for a 1-gigawatt global AI factory.
