SK Hynix to livestream groundbreaking for Indiana packaging plant

SK Hynix said it will hold a groundbreaking ceremony at Purdue University in Indiana at 11 p.m. on Aug. 27 Korea time for an advanced packaging production base for AI memory. CEO Kwak Noh-jung and other SK Group executives, along with key Indiana officials, will attend. The company plans to livestream the event on YouTube. The site in West Lafayette involves a $3.87 billion investment, with mass production slated for the second half of 2028.
