KT partners with Human Resources Development Service of Korea to train AI talent
KT said it will work with the Human Resources Development Service of Korea to foster AI-based talent and strengthen digital innovation in the public sector. The companies signed a memorandum of understanding on Aug. 4 to operate KT’s AICE training programme and bolster AI and data skills among the agency’s staff. They also plan to expand AI use across key projects and jointly identify new AI transformation tasks.

PIPC holds briefing on all-sector MyData system and service support project
South Korea\'s Personal Information Protection Commission and the Korea Internet & Security Agency held a briefing on Monday in Seoul on systems linked to expanded data portability requests and a MyData support project. About 300 officials from related ministries, some 20 public bodies and private firms attended. The commission explained the scope and transmission methods for data requests and collected feedback. It also shared details of a 1.7 billion won project to support MyData services, integrated personal information management and stronger public website safeguards.
