PIPC holds briefing on all-sector MyData system and service support project
South Korea\'s Personal Information Protection Commission and the Korea Internet & Security Agency held a briefing on Monday in Seoul on systems linked to expanded data portability requests and a MyData support project. About 300 officials from related ministries, some 20 public bodies and private firms attended. The commission explained the scope and transmission methods for data requests and collected feedback. It also shared details of a 1.7 billion won project to support MyData services, integrated personal information management and stronger public website safeguards.

KOSA recruits trainees for Metanet Group job-linked entry-level program
Korea Artificial Intelligence & Software Industry Association (KOSA) said it is recruiting trainees until Jan. 25 for a job-linked entry-level training program with Metanet Group. Metanet has worked with KOSA since 2023 across five cohorts, with the first cohort achieving a 100 percent employment rate and an overall average of 83 percent. The program includes software engineering, data and AI, LLM and RAG architecture, cloud infrastructure and integrated projects.
