SK Telecom bets on \'AI factory\' with Nvidia to push into AI infrastructure

SK Telecom is stepping up its push into the AI infrastructure market through cooperation with Nvidia, with plans to run an Nvidia DSX-based “AI factory” next year and later expand it to gigawatt scale. AWS plans to commercialise fault-tolerant quantum computer within two years, develops next-generation system with QuEra

Amazon Web Services plans to work with U.S. quantum computing startup QuEra Computing to commercialise fault-tolerant quantum computers. The companies aim to introduce an error-corrected quantum system to the AWS cloud within the next two years and unveil a next-generation quantum computer supporting large-scale logical qubits by 2028. The collaboration focuses on error-control technology, using QuEra’s neutral-atom approach and expanding AWS’s multi-architecture platform strategy.

KRX recommends Kim Woo-chan as Kosdaq market committee chair candidate

The Korea Exchange said its Kosdaq Market Committee has recommended Kim Woo-chan, a professor at Korea University Business School, as candidate chair of the Kosdaq Market Committee. Kim is expected to be appointed at an extraordinary general meeting of shareholders on July 6. The exchange said Kim has expertise in finance and corporate governance and has held roles at governance and reform institutes. He has also worked in government and academia and holds Harvard degrees.
