Google to be AI partner for Korean industry, pushes into manufacturing, platforms and entertainment
Google positioned itself as an AI partner for South Korean industry, outlining plans to expand adoption from manufacturers such as Samsung Electronics and Hyundai Motor to platforms and media including Kakao and CJ ENM. At a Seoul event, Google Korea CEO Yoon Koo said it would build an AI ecosystem with leading Korean companies. Google DeepMind says AGI frontier will open a new renaissance
Google DeepMind CEO Demis Hassabis said AI will produce breakthroughs in disease, the environment and energy over the next decade, calling it the start of a new renaissance for human prosperity. Speaking in Seoul, he set out a vision of delivering “AI for everyone” at the frontier of artificial general intelligence. Participants said DeepMind did not present a concrete AGI definition or methodology, and discussed strategy and unresolved issues such as jagged intelligence.

Age of the individual begins, running AI agent teams
A senior developer at a major IT company in Pangyo, Hwang Min-ho (황민호), described a growing way of working in which individuals run teams of AI agents by assigning personas, knowledge and skills and designing workflows. He said development cycles have shortened sharply as tools evolved, and meetings now yield real-time prototypes. He also said harness engineering, introduced by Anthropic, helps automate complex tasks and that managing agents is not the same as coding ability.
