KT shared artificial intelligence and cloud-based work innovation strategies with startups in the Gyeonggi region.
KT said on June 11 it held “KT AX Immersion Day 2026 Gyeonggi” on June 10 at Pangyo Startup Zone in Seongnam, Gyeonggi, with the Gyeonggi Center for Creative Economy and Innovation, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Databricks Korea and KT Cloud.
The event was set up to introduce AI transition (AX) strategies and work innovation measures based on AI and cloud for startups in the Gyeonggi area in the IT, games and media sectors.
Under the theme “AI Agents on AWS”, AWS introduced work proposals based on AI agent technology that understands user requests and autonomously performs tasks. It also explained changes in development and operations methods centred on harness engineering, a technical framework for implementing AI models into real services, through a session titled “AI Engineering 3.0: A New Build Paradigm Created by Harness”.
Databricks shared ways for startups and growth companies to build data-driven decision-making systems under the theme “Startup Survival Equation: How a Business-Centred Data Environment Changes Decision-Making Speed”. KT introduced customer work innovation cases using “Cloudflex”. KT Cloudflex is a service that optimises and provides various cloud services to fit customer environments.
KT expects participating companies to apply AI, data and cloud technologies to their businesses and to make their AX 추진 direction more specific through the event.
Jin-hyeong Lee (이진형), head of KT’s AX Business Division and a managing director, said, “Based on the AX know-how KT has, we will provide practical technical information tailored to regional industry characteristics and each company’s stage of AX 추진.”
KT previously held “Busan Cloud Day 2025” with the Busan city government and the Busan Information Industry Promotion Agency last year.
