Harmony ONE supply surges amid exploit allegations, rollback under review

Layer 1 blockchain platform Harmony is working with exchanges to freeze funds after allegations of large-scale unauthorized issuance of ONE tokens and is also reviewing a possible blockchain rollback. It is preparing a patch while discussing rollback options. A key claim is that an attacker minted about 4 billion ONE, about 26 percent of total supply. Harmony said it has not officially confirmed the cause, the number of tokens created, or amounts sent to exchanges.
