Hana Financial Group has launched its 20th SMART campus ambassador programme and begun official activities.
Hana Financial said on July 3 it held a launch ceremony for the 20th SMART campus ambassadors on July 2 at its Myeong-dong building in Jung-gu, Seoul.
A record 1,642 people applied this year, and 50 university students were selected after screening.
The 20th class will, over about 2 months, reinterpret the group mission of "growing together and sharing happiness through finance" from a youth perspective. It will also carry out brand promotion and social contribution activities.
Key activities include online and offline brand promotion under "Happy Hana", social contribution work for vulnerable groups under "Harmony Hana", and on-site activities based at Cheongna Hana Dream Town under "H.Q Hana".
This year, the group will also strengthen field-based programmes linked to its main businesses and carry out social contribution activities at home and abroad.
Hana Financial Chairman Young-joo Ham (함영주) said he hopes the students will reinterpret the group mission with fresh perspectives and ideas and serve as a bridge linking the youth generation and the group.
