Samsung Electronics unveiled four 2027 Odyssey gaming monitors at Gamescom 2026 in Cologne, Germany. The lineup includes the 49-inch Odyssey OLED G9, the first 360Hz OLED gaming monitor, as well as the 32-inch OLED G8, 42-inch OLED G7 and 27-inch G6. The company also outlined plans for glasses-free 3D support and expanding compatible games, including titles such as Cyberpunk 2077.

Samsung Electronics said on Monday it has applied the next-generation video standard HDR10+ Advanced to Amazon-operated Prime Video, marking the first global rollout on an OTT service. The companies have maintained a partnership since Prime Video introduced HDR10+ in 2017, and have now expanded cooperation to the higher specification. HDR10+ Advanced adds Enhanced Overall Brightness and Intelligent Motion Smoothing, dynamically adjusting brightness, colour and motion by scene.
