Samsung Electronics tops global gaming monitor market for seventh straight year
Samsung Electronics\' gaming monitors ranked No. 1 globally for a seventh straight year, according to market researcher IDC. Samsung held an 18.9 percent value share of the 2025 global gaming monitor market for models with refresh rates of 144 Hz or higher. Shipments in the segment rose more than 15 percent to 3.1 million units. Samsung also led the OLED monitor market for a third straight year with a 26 percent value share, as shipments nearly doubled to 2.34 million units.

Samsung Electronics adds Nvidia G-SYNC Compatible to OLED TVs and gaming monitors
Samsung Electronics said its 2026 OLED TV lineup and key gaming monitors have received Nvidia’s G-SYNC Compatible certification. The technology synchronises display refresh rates with graphics card frame rates to minimise screen tearing and stuttering. Certified products include SH95, SH90 and SH85 OLED TV models and Odyssey G6 gaming monitors G61SH and G60H, scheduled for release this year. The TVs support up to 165Hz, with SH85 up to 120Hz.

Lenovo expands premium OLED monitor lineup for professionals
Lenovo’s South Korea unit said it has launched two new monitors domestically: the Yoga Pro 27UD-10 aimed at creators and the Legion 27Q-10 OLED aimed at gamers. Both use QD-OLED panels and carry TUV Rheinland Eyesafe 2.0 certification. The Yoga model features a 26.5-inch 4K display, factory calibration and built-in camera, microphones and speakers. The Legion model offers 240Hz refresh and console mode support. Lenovo offers three-year warranties for both.
