Lee Hae-min says she will be control tower linking national AI strategy to industry and public services

Lee Jae Myung government wraps up second-phase AI appointments with industry trio

A new lineup to lead the Lee Jae Myung government\'s AI strategy has been formed, with a focus on officials from the IT industry. South Korea appoints lawmaker Lee Hae-min as new AI senior secretary, reshuffling policy lineup

South Korea\'s presidential office on Aug. 30 appointed Cho Kuk Innovation Party lawmaker Lee Hae-min as its new senior secretary for AI future planning, filling a vacancy left by Ha Jung-woo\'s resignation. Lee has worked as a product manager at Google Korea and Google\'s U.S. headquarters and later served as chief product officer at data firm OpenSurvey. The office also named Ha as senior vice chair of the National AI Strategy Committee.
