Kakao Mobility unveils AI parking technology at ITS World Congress

Kakao Mobility presented its vision for the future of urban parking, highlighting AI-based parking technology and data analysis results at the 2026 Gangneung ITS World Congress. The company held a standalone session on redefining urban parking through AI and data. Naver steps up highway accident information linkages with Expressway Corp and others

Naver said on Wednesday it will build a cooperation system with Korea Expressway Corp, Kakao Mobility, T Map Mobility and others to share information on highway accidents and unexpected incidents. Under the agreement, navigation operators will send data suspected to indicate accidents to the expressway operator, which will verify incidents through CCTV and return confirmed information. Naver plans to link the information to Naver Map to alert drivers.
