An electronic bicycle brake system has been proposed that brakes without levers, activating when riders grip the handlebar. Dutch inventor Maas van Beek (마스 반 베이크) unveiled a design using pressure sensors inside the grips and a central control module to trigger braking. The system integrates braking into the handlebar and includes a motor to assist braking force, along with a mechanical backup for electronic failures. The concept has been patented, but no working prototype exists yet.

South Korea\'s financial sector has entered the first-quarter earnings season, with non-interest income and non-bank units driving diverging results among major financial holding companies.
