Trustay, an AX space company, will officially roll out “Family Chat,” a household-only messenger service, within its housing platform Knocktown on Oct. 29.

The company said Family Chat is a family-only communication space where family members using Knocktown can hold everyday conversations and share family information such as birthdays and anniversaries. It also allows them to check complex notices and management fee details together.

Users can quickly create a Family Chat room, invite family members and start chatting. They can set the names and forms of address used within the family, and register birthdays and anniversaries for shared viewing.

It also links to a briefing function that provides housing-related notices, such as complex announcements or apartment management fee assessment details, within the Family Chat room.

Trustay plans to use the launch to expand Knocktown usage beyond the household’s representative user to other family members, and to provide an everyday communication space used by the family together.

Trustay CEO Seung-oh Lee (이승오) said, “A home is a space where the whole family lives together, not just one person, so a housing platform should also be a service used together by all household members.” He added, “Starting with Family Chat, we will grow Knocktown beyond an app for checking management fees or complex news, into a platform that connects all communication in the housing space with AI technology.”
