NASA to resume Venus exploration in 2030s, moves up DAVINCI and restarts VERITAS

Two next-generation NASA Venus missions are regaining momentum as launch schedules are moved up or confirmed, after facing possible cancellation and delays due to budget issues. The DAVINCI atmospheric probe mission is targeting a December 2030 launch, a year earlier than planned, while the VERITAS orbiter has secured funding for a November 2032 launch. Europe and a private company are also preparing Venus missions in the early 2030s.

IMF praises El Salvador economy, presses to stop buying bitcoin

The International Monetary Fund approved a $139 million disbursement for El Salvador but reaffirmed that the government should further scale back bitcoin-related activities. The IMF said economic activity was stronger than expected, supported by improved security and a recovery in investor confidence, and that macroeconomic imbalances were continuing to ease. It also said some performance criteria were not met, particularly on bitcoin accumulation, while it expects no further accumulation beyond documented donations.

Smilegate Future Lab to run game career programme for Gyeonggi elementary students

Smilegate Future Lab said on Tuesday it will run the \"2026 Youth Game Career Exploration Programme\" with the Gyeonggi Content Agency for elementary students in Gyeonggi Province. The programme will run through November for about 200 fifth- and sixth-graders at 10 schools. Students will experience the full game development process and make their own games, using Future Lab\'s learning community app \"Ahaoho\" to create, record and share work.
