Igloo Corporation wins patent for cloud-based log management server

Igloo Corporation said on Thursday it has obtained a patent for a cloud-based log management server that can collect log data without interruption and store it sequentially even during network outages. The company said the technology is designed to address breaks in log continuity caused by network failures and to help cloud-based analytics systems accurately analyse stored logs. It automatically switches transmission methods based on network status and preserves original log order after recovery.

Woori Bank supports issuance of seven mobile IDs, offers prizes up to 100,000 won

Woori Bank is offering prizes worth up to 100,000 won to customers who issue identification documents through its mobile banking app. The bank said it will run the promotion from Oct. 21 to Nov. 20 to boost use of its mobile ID service introduced on Oct. 14. Customers who issue a mobile ID via Woori WON Banking will be entered into a draw and may receive up to 100,000 won in “Honey Money.”
