2027 CISO focus keywords: SOC automation and offensive security

A growing share of corporate security budgets is expected to go to AI, reflecting widening AI-driven threats and attack surfaces, according to a survey released by Andreessen Horowitz (a16z). In a poll of 100 CISOs at companies with more than 1,000 employees, 87 percent expected security spending to rise. SOC automation ranked top for 2027 priorities, while AI agent security and offensive security also rose. Adoption remains limited, but many plan near-term purchases and upgrades.

AhnLab\'s Q3 consolidated sales rise 23 percent on strong growth in network security business

AhnLab said on Oct. 28 it posted third-quarter consolidated sales of 79.5 billion won and operating profit of 10.9 billion won. Sales rose 23.1 percent and operating profit increased 38.7 percent from a year earlier. On a standalone basis, sales and operating profit rose 26.2 percent and 25.3 percent. The company cited triple-digit growth in its network security business and expanding demand for EDR and MDR.
