AI-native security platform company AhnLab participated in Security Days Fall 2026 Tokyo, held in Tokyo from Oct. 21 to 23. It ran an exhibition booth and presentation sessions focused on IT-OT integrated cyber-physical system (CPS) security.
The company said a range of cyber attacks targeting companies and institutions has been spreading in Japan. In manufacturing, threats including ransomware are spreading to production sites, raising concerns about operational disruptions.
Given that, AhnLab showcased its OT network security solution, AhnLab XTD, and technology that detects threats spreading within OT networks or entering from IT networks. It also highlighted malware detection capabilities to respond to ransomware and protect production facilities, which could otherwise lead to disruptions at manufacturing sites.
Its OT endpoint security solution, AhnLab EPS, has a lightweight design and supports older operating systems for which security patches have ended. It can be applied to legacy facilities that are difficult to replace.
AhnLab Japan manager Masaomi Kurokawa (크로카와 마사오미) also gave a presentation in a conference session under the theme, "Optimal solutions for CPS security advancing in the AI era." He shared CPS security insights to underpin stability at industrial sites where uninterrupted operations are important.
AhnLab Japan country manager Yoji Tsubaki (츠바키 요지) said Japanese customers show strong engagement with CPS security for stable manufacturing operations and ransomware response, along with AI-based security. He said the company will strengthen its position in Japan's security market based on CPS security experience and references accumulated across various industrial sites at home and abroad, and on locally tailored support.
