U.S. solar power output overtakes coal in monthly generation
U.S. solar power generation exceeded coal generation on a monthly basis for the first time, Cleantechnica reported, citing data from energy analytics firm Ember. Ember said U.S. solar output in May 2026 hit a record 45.5 TWh, up 17 percent from a year earlier, making solar the country’s third-largest power source after natural gas and nuclear. Ember said coal’s share fell as solar’s share rose over five years.

Line Games kicks off PC lineup expansion with Code Exit, early demo response draws attention
Line Games is speeding up plans to expand its PC-focused title lineup to target the global market. The company said the demo for its new sci-fi co-op horror game Code Exit, developed by local indie studio Phase8 Studio and serviced by Line Games, reached No. 1 on the Epic Games Store Top Demo chart. It added the demo remained ranked No. 3 and Steam wishlists rose by about 2,500 during the event period.
