Line Games said on Thursday it has unveiled the new PC title 'Come to My Party' being developed by game studio Yoonsimsang.
'Come to My Party' is a black comedy visual novel game about a 10-year-old girl, Jimin, who tries to host a birthday party at an elementary school in 1999. Players experience events in and outside the classroom from the protagonist's point of view, including a class president election and friendships.
It adopts a multiple-ending structure in which character relationships and the ending change depending on players' judgement and choices. It also uses humor to explore peer-group psychology and family conflict.
Line Games will expand its PC titles, starting with the unveiling of the new game. It plans to unveil 3 or more new PC titles, including 'Ember and Blade' and 'Hamster Talk', whose demo version was released earlier this year.
A Line Games official said, "Come to My Party is a work that reinterprets childhood memories that everyone keeps in their heart through the distinctive grammar of black comedy," adding, "With this unveiling as a turning point, we plan to present a range of titles with genre diversity and gameplay."
