South Korean game companies are using Tokyo Game Show 2026 as a venue to test the market appeal of upcoming titles through hands-on demos for local users. Nexon, Netmarble, NC, Smilegate and Shift Up will showcase new games, playable builds and updated versions, and link booth programs to social media follows, pre-registration and closed beta sign-ups. Organisers say companies from 51 countries and regions will attend, including 38 participants from South Korea.

NCSoft will unveil the first playable demo of its new subculture RPG \'Astrae Oratio\' at Tokyo Game Show 2026. The company said it opened a special TGS 2026 website for the title on Sept. 7 and released a booth overview and on-site programs. Visitors will be able to choose between a scenario build and a combat build to try the game. A prologue screening event will also be held at the booth stage.
