[DigitalToday reporter Lee Ho-jung] NCSoft is switching its on-site programme for 'Astrae Oratio' online after Tokyo Game Show 2026 (TGS 2026) ended earlier than scheduled due to the effects of a typhoon.

NCSoft said on Sept. 21 it will hold an "online scenario screening" on the official Japanese YouTube channel for Astrae Oratio.

This year's TGS had been scheduled to run for five days from Sept. 17 to 21, but booth operations were halted on Sept. 21 due to the typhoon. The event closed early, ending on Sept. 20.

NCSoft has moved the scenario screening it had planned to run on site to an online format. The broadcast will run three times on Sept. 21 at 12 p.m., 2 p.m. and 4 p.m., with each session lasting about 50 minutes. It will provide subtitles in four languages: Korean, Japanese, English and traditional Chinese.

On Sept. 20, the last day of operations before the schedule was shortened, it also expanded the demo area. The existing booth allowed 42 people to try the game at the same time, but it converted staff work space into a demo area to allow up to 46 participants.

Astrae Oratio is a divine biography magic RPG that NCSoft is publishing and Dynamis One is developing. NCSoft unveiled the scenario and a combat build for the first time at this TGS and ran hands-on demos for users.
