China tightens grip on global humanoid robot supply chain, evolves into economies of scale

Qualcomm to support AR, robotics and AI infrastructure development for South Korean startups
Qualcomm has joined a Ministry of SMEs and Startups-run program as a demand partner to collaborate with South Korean startups, it said on Wednesday. Qualcomm Technologies will participate in the vertical track of the \"Challenge AX for Everyone\" program. It will match partner firms with startups to pursue projects covering AR glasses, robots and on-premise appliances, including AMR solutions, on-device recognition models and AI on-premise infrastructure development.

Qualcomm, Arduino and Edge Impulse launch global developer competition
Qualcomm Technologies, Arduino and Edge Impulse have launched a global developer competition with the developer community Hackster, the organisers said on Sunday. The contest targets engineers and makers worldwide, including in South Korea, and will provide 300 Arduino UNO Q boards free of charge. Participants will develop in the Arduino App Lab environment, which supports integrated workflows and edge machine learning. Hardware applications close on April 5, with winners to be announced by Sept. 25.
