Qualcomm Technologies will take part in Industrial AI Expo 2026 and introduce technologies from startups based on Qualcomm platforms, it said on Tuesday. It said the move is aimed at broadening its partnership ecosystem in industrial AI and automation.
The exhibition hall will feature a QAIPI Pavilion for companies taking part in the Qualcomm AI Innovator Program. QAIPI is a program launched in 2025 to help startups in the Asia-Pacific region build scalable AI applications using Qualcomm platforms. Participating companies receive technology resources such as Qualcomm AI Hub, as well as training and mentoring.
A total of 6 startups will join the pavilion. They are Energize, WithRobot, Undermilli, ClickA, PlaidLabs, selected this year, and Sagak, selected last year. Five partners in industrial and embedded IoT, including ICbanQ, Sapphire Stream Technology Korea, Access Lab, MathWorks and OSCO, will also take part. Qualcomm explained that their participation shows its intention to support deployments at industrial sites.
In the Qualcomm Robotics Zone operated by OSCO, 2 robots from partners will be demonstrated. A quadruped robot from Rainbow Robotics is equipped with the Qualcomm Dragonwing IQ-9075, and an autonomous mobile robot (AMR) from SL is equipped with the Arduino VENTUNO Q. Qualcomm will also introduce technology use cases with partners in industrial IoT and the automotive sector.
Qualcomm is pursuing the industrial AI and automation market by focusing on high-performance, low-power computing, on-device AI that processes AI directly on devices, and connectivity technologies. It says it is focusing on helping startups and partners develop new solutions and apply them at industrial sites.
Sang-pyo Kim (김상표), president of Qualcomm Korea, said, "As AI spreads across industry, the capability to apply innovative technologies in real environments and commercialise them is becoming more important." He said, "This Industrial AI Expo is a meaningful venue for domestic startups participating in QAIPI to showcase innovative technologies in edge AI and robotics." He added, "Qualcomm will continue cooperation to support startups from technology development through commercialisation through QAIPI and help domestic innovative companies create new growth opportunities in the global market."
