Naver Labs unveils Kansong Museum VR tour to digitally preserve collection

Naver Labs has launched a virtual reality service that recreates the Kansong Art Museum’s exhibition spaces and cultural heritage as a digital twin, allowing viewing regardless of time and place. Naver Labs and the Kansong Art and Culture Foundation said the VR Tour lets users follow the museum’s visitor route, select exhibits and read descriptions via PC or mobile. It also preserves some artifacts digitally, including a stone lion statue donated to China in July.

Broadcast Media Communications Commission unveils AI production cases used for action scenes, subtitles and audio description

South Korea\'s Broadcast Media Communications Commission held a seminar in Seoul on Thursday with the Korea Radio Promotion Association to share AI use in broadcasting production and services. Speakers presented an AI-made action sequence for an SBS drama and generative AI use in an MBC variety show. Broadcasters also introduced AI subtitles and audio description for sports coverage, AI voice for radio news, and automation tools for video editing and graphics work.

NC AI to work with LG Electronics on national project for autonomous humanoid

Physical AI specialist NC AI said on Wednesday it formed a consortium with LG Electronics and was selected to carry out the humanoid segment of the \"K-on-device AI semiconductor technology development project\" led by the industry ministry and KEIT. The project aims to develop autonomous humanoid technology using domestically made on-device AI semiconductors. NC AI will develop a human-to-robot retargeting pipeline and build motion data for training.
