Android is preparing a new cross-device continuity feature called \'Continue On\', designed to let users resume work started on one Android device on another without interruption. Initial support focuses on switching from smartphones to tablets. When users stop using an app on a phone, the state is sent to another device and appears on the tablet taskbar as a \'Handoff Suggestion\'. Google plans to offer the feature at the Android 17 API level for third-party apps.

Samsung Electronics union and management will return on May 18 to a second post-mediation session at the National Labor Relations Commission, days before a planned strike.
