OpenAI to supply ChatGPT Enterprise to all Samsung Electronics employees

OpenAI will supply ChatGPT Enterprise and Codex to support work innovation and companywide AI transformation at Samsung Electronics, it said on Sunday. The rollout covers all Samsung employees in South Korea and all employees worldwide in its Device eXperience (DX) division. Samsung plans to use the tools across software development, marketing, product development and manufacturing. OpenAI said more than 5 million people use Codex weekly and its weekly active users in South Korea have surged since Feb. 1, 2026.

Samsung Electronics to roll out ChatGPT, Gemini and Claude for in-house work to speed AI transition

Samsung Electronics will introduce three major external generative AI services across in-house work as it moves more fully into AI transformation. The company said it will officially roll out the services on June 12 for employees in its Device eXperience division. Staff will be able to use ChatGPT, Gemini Enterprise and Claude and choose the tool that fits each task. Samsung aims to lift productivity, speed decisions and strengthen execution across the organisation.

Android to add \'Continue On\' to extend phone tasks to tablets

Android is preparing a new cross-device continuity feature called \'Continue On\', designed to let users resume work started on one Android device on another without interruption. Initial support focuses on switching from smartphones to tablets. When users stop using an app on a phone, the state is sent to another device and appears on the tablet taskbar as a \'Handoff Suggestion\'. Google plans to offer the feature at the Android 17 API level for third-party apps.
