Bitcoin holds top crypto market cap rank for eighth year as once-promising coins fade

Bitcoin has not given up the top spot by cryptocurrency market capitalisation since 2018, holding No. 1 through repeated market swings. The overall top tier stayed relatively stable, but project turnover below it was rapid. Ethereum has remained No. 2 since 2018, and XRP never fell out of the top 10. Of 20 projects that ranked near the top in 2018, only Bitcoin, Ethereum and XRP kept their presence through 2026.

Devsisters announces optimisation and balance improvements for Cookierun: Ovensmash

Devsisters said it held a live broadcast on its official YouTube channel on April 2 and announced plans to optimise Cookierun: Ovensmash and improve character balance. Chief Executive Cho Gil-hyeon and co-producer Lee Won-young apologised for user inconvenience and pledged fixes. The company plans an update next week adding a new mode and cookies, along with patches to reduce loading times and improve controls, convenience and audio effects.

LG Energy Solution steps up battery software business for SDV era

LG Energy Solution is stepping up its battery software business ahead of the shift to software-defined vehicles, it said on Thursday. The company said it joined SDVerse, a vehicle software B2B platform led by GM, Canada’s Magna International and Wipro, becoming the first battery maker on the marketplace. LG Energy Solution introduced five software solutions, including battery platform software and tools for safety diagnostics and battery-state diagnosis and prediction.
