Sky Intelligence, a company specialising in digital twins and industrial synthetic data, said on Wednesday it has raised Series A funding from DS Investment Partners. DS Investment Partners is a technology finance company affiliated with DS Financial Group and has invested in Market Kurly and Zigbang. Sky Intelligence develops technology that recreates industrial environments in virtual space and generates high-quality synthetic data for robot AI training. It plans to use the funds to upgrade its platform, data infrastructure and expand business in global manufacturing and robotics markets.

Semiconductors, defense, shipbuilding and power equipment are expected to lead South Korea\'s exports in the second half, with simultaneous strength across the four sectors seen absorbing external shocks despite prolonged Middle East tensions and a surge in Strait of Hormuz shipping rates. The Bank of Korea raised its growth outlook and lifted its inflation forecast, citing strong first-quarter growth and an extended semiconductor cycle. Officials also pointed to broader export gains across industries.
