Danal\'s PayProtocol, Squid cooperate on multichain payment and settlement infrastructure

Danal’s virtual asset payments firm PayProtocol is teaming up with global cross-chain infrastructure company Squid to build a system that allows digital assets on various blockchain networks to be used for payments and settlement at PayCoin affiliates. The companies signed a strategic agreement to connect the PayCoin mainnet and build multichain payment infrastructure. They will run a proof of concept to link PayCoin’s private-chain mainnet with external networks and assess commercialisation.

KOCCA appoints Kim Do-il as vice president to strengthen field communication and collaboration

Korea Creative Content Agency (KOCCA) has appointed Kim Do-il (김도일), former CEO of the Arts Management Support Center, as its new vice president. KOCCA said Kim will begin his official term on Sept. 21. His two-year term runs through Sept. 20, 2028. KOCCA said Kim will take part in work to connect culture and industry and link creation with the market, based on communication with the content industry field.

NIPA, Korea Business Angels Association to cooperate on AICT startups\' global expansion

Korea\'s National IT Industry Promotion Agency (NIPA) said on Sept. 21 it signed an agreement on Sept. 18 with the Korea Business Angels Association to support two-way domestic and overseas expansion by AICT startups. The two organisations said they will build a support system linking overseas expansion by local startups with the resettlement in Korea of overseas Korean technology talent. Cooperation areas include startup discovery, settlement support, commercialisation and investment support, and growth paths for follow-on funding and overseas expansion.
