Big Tech AI super-agent race heats up as AWS joins with Amazon Quick
Amazon Web Services on April 28 unveiled Amazon Quick, a desktop AI app that automates multiple tasks such as creating presentations, writing documents and generating images while running in the background on a user’s computer. The service costs $20 a month and can be used without an AWS account. Quick integrates with tools including Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Zoom and Salesforce, and can move across apps via APIs or desktop controls.

Microsoft testing agent tool similar to OpenClaw
Microsoft is testing a plan to integrate features similar to the open-source AI agent tool OpenClaw into Microsoft 365 Copilot, TechCrunch reported on April 13, citing The Information. The company aims to offer enterprise agents with stronger security controls than OpenClaw. Microsoft has introduced Copilot Cowork and previewed Copilot Tasks. TechCrunch said it is not yet confirmed whether the new agent will run locally or in the cloud.
