Microsoft is developing a super app that integrates its various Copilot AI tools into one, Fortune reported on May 29.

Microsoft is working to combine GitHub Copilot, Copilot Chat, Copilot Cowork and an agentic workflow feature codenamed Autopilot into a single interface, the report said.

It also includes Microsoft 365 Copilot accounts.

Microsoft aims to launch the integrated app this summer.

The project is led by Jacob Andreou (제이콥 안드레우), who was recently appointed to lead Copilot overall. A key task is to integrate consumer and enterprise Copilot into a single product, Fortune reported.

Paid Microsoft 365 Copilot users account for less than 4.5 percent of the company’s 450 million total customers. GitHub Copilot has 4.7 million paying subscribers, but it appears to be losing ground in competition with Cursor and Claude Code.

Some details about the super app could be mentioned at Microsoft’s annual Build conference, held in San Francisco on June 2 and 3, Fortune reported.
