Microsoft will launch a super app this year that bundles Copilot chat, coding and agent functions. The Verge reported on July 29 that the app is expected to cover both consumer and commercial experiences.
Microsoft Chief Executive Satya Nadella (사티아 나델라) said on an earnings conference call that Copilot is evolving rapidly from chat to cowork and autopilot. He said Microsoft is integrating Copilot experiences, including code, into a single super app this quarter and will disclose details soon.
Nadella's remarks come months after reports said Microsoft was developing a super app combining the Copilot chatbot, GitHub Copilot, Copilot Cowork and an autopilot system.
OpenAI also recently introduced a ChatGPT Work app that combines ChatGPT and the AI coding tool Codex.
Microsoft's revenue in the previous quarter rose to $90 billion. The company said its AI and cloud businesses drove the increase.
