KT said on Saturday that Chief Executive Park Yoon-young (박윤영) visited the company\'s Busan KT International Telecommunications Centre on April 10 to check communications infrastructure connecting major continents and countries. The facility serves as a landing station handling most international internet traffic and linking undersea cables to domestic networks. KT operates five undersea cables and monitors equipment and cable conditions in Asia. Park encouraged staff and called for stable operations to support AI services.

KT said on Wednesday it will expand a five-day vehicle rotation scheme to 318 offices nationwide to support the government\'s resource security crisis response policy. The company has run the scheme at 68 offices and will add 250 more sites. The restrictions apply to employee and visitor vehicles by weekday, with exemptions including vehicles for disabled people, pregnant women or those with infants, business-use vehicles and night shift workers.
