Ripple unlocks 1 billion XRP from escrow in November

Ripple carried out its regular November escrow unlock, releasing 1 billion XRP in two tranches of 500 million each. Whale Alert said 500 million XRP was unlocked early in the day, followed by another 500 million, with each transaction valued at $626,430,089. The company has previously returned a large portion of unlocked XRP to escrow, typically re-depositing about 700 million and using the remainder for operations, liquidity provision and ecosystem activities.

Ripple\'s RLUSD lists on Coinbase, opens access at top U.S. crypto exchange

Ripple’s dollar-pegged stablecoin RLUSD has been listed on Coinbase, the largest U.S. cryptocurrency exchange. Retail and institutional clients can trade and manage RLUSD across Coinbase Prime, the Coinbase exchange and the Coinbase retail app, with 1-for-1 conversions from U.S. dollars and supported dollar-denominated stablecoins. Coinbase also supports RLUSD deposits and withdrawals on XRP Ledger, Base and Ethereum. Ripple said RLUSD’s market value has risen to about $2.58 billion.

Bitcoin wallet dormant for more than 10 years moves, 55.1 billion won sent to Coinbase

A bitcoin wallet linked to Irish drug offender Clifton Collins (클리프턴 콜린스) moved for the first time in more than 10 years, transferring 500 bitcoin worth about $41.52 million to Coinbase Prime, U.Today reported. Lookonchain tracked the transaction. The coins were part of 6,000 bitcoin Collins accumulated more than a decade ago. Irish authorities have been seeking access to and seizure of the bitcoin, including multiple 500-bitcoin seizures this year.
