Unauthorised Claude token usage spreads after session hijacking, users say

Cases have emerged in which hackers hijacked login sessions for Anthropic’s Claude accounts and used Claude Code tokens without authorisation. Anthropic confirmed abnormal activity on some accounts, forced session terminations, invalidated server-side tokens and issued refunds to some users. A UK-based independent AI consultant reported unexplained usage increases on a paid plan and said detailed logs were unavailable. Similar complaints surfaced on Reddit and GitHub, including sudden usage spikes and billing changes.

AI search startup Glean says tokens 70 percent cheaper than Claude CoWork - how?

AI search startup Glean is stepping up its offensive against Anthropic, targeting token costs and data security issues. It released an internal evaluation saying its AI assistant was far cheaper than Anthropic’s Claude CoWork app when performing more than 180 tasks. Glean said it used 70 percent fewer tokens and its average charge per task was 81 percent lower, citing routing software that assigns tasks to different models.

Anthropic opens Claude Cowork mobile access to all paid plans

Anthropic has expanded mobile access for Claude Cowork to all users on paid plans. The feature is now available on iPhone, iPad and desktop for all paid tiers, completing a rollout plan announced about a month ago that started with the top-priced plan. Claude Cowork connects tools such as files, calendars, email, messaging apps and the web to carry out tasks. It can continue scheduled work even when a device is offline and can request user confirmation when needed.
