South Korea launches \'4 hubs, 3 special regions\' autonomous R&D plan, to invest 78.9 billion won in 7 zones

The Ministry of Science and ICT said it launched the \'4 hubs, 3 special regions\' programme at KAIST on Wednesday and will push projects in seven zones. It will invest a total of 78.9 billion won this year and expand support after 2027.

Netmarble Cultural Foundation wraps up 2026 national e-festival for students with disabilities

Netmarble Cultural Foundation said on Sept. 10 it has concluded the 2026 National e-Festival for Students with Disabilities, held on Sept. 8-9 in Hongcheon, Gangwon province. About 1,600 special school students, teachers and parents attended after being selected through regional qualifiers involving about 3,000 participants from May to July. The festival featured 29 events, including 11 e-sports and 18 IT competitions, with 29 winning teams receiving awards.
