China\'s top DRAM maker CXMT launches $4.3 billion Shanghai IPO, test for AI memory push
ChangXin Memory Technologies (CXMT), China’s largest DRAM maker, is launching a Shanghai IPO worth about $4.3 billion as AI data centre demand drives a surge in memory needs. Subscriptions on the STAR Market are set to begin on July 16. The company plans to raise 29.5 billion yuan by selling about 6.69 billion shares, around 10 percent of total shares after listing, with an overallotment option also secured.

MSI beta BIOS enables high-speed DDR5 with China\'s CXMT chips on mainstream PCs
MSI has released a beta BIOS supporting ultra-high-speed operation of DDR5 memory using chips from China’s ChangXin Memory Technologies (CXMT). The test showed CXMT-based DDR5 running at DDR5-8200 in a dual-DIMM setup and DDR5-7200 with four DIMMs, though a global BIOS version has not been released. The development draws attention as a potential new supply option in a PC memory market led by Samsung Electronics, SK Hynix and Micron.

China memory module maker Longsys forecasts up to 744-fold jump in H1 net profit on AI memory tailwinds
Chinese memory module maker Longsys forecasts first-half net profit attributable to shareholders of 9.2 billion to 11.0 billion yuan, up about 622 to 744 times from a year earlier. It also expects revenue to rise to 22.0 billion to 25.0 billion yuan from 10.2 billion yuan. The company cited a recovery in memory demand and limited supply expansion, and said it renewed long-term supply deals to stabilise its supply chain.
