Korea Post calls for tough punishment over assault on mail carrier in Seoul

The Ministry of Science and ICT\'s Korea Post expressed deep regret over a recent case in Seoul in which a mail carrier on official duty was assaulted and called for strong punishment for the perpetrator. It said a passenger car driver chased a mail carrier delivering mail on a motorcycle and assaulted the carrier on a road in Seoul. The carrier is receiving outpatient treatment and psychological counseling after taking sick leave.

SKT adds family care feature to A.Dot Phone to alert guardians of suspected voice phishing

SK Telecom said on April 27 it will add a \"family care\" feature to its A.Dot Phone service to alert guardians immediately when AI detects suspected voice phishing during a call. Police Agency statistics showed 5,878 voice phishing cases in the first quarter of 2025, up 17 percent from a year earlier, while average losses per case rose 188 percent to 53.01 million won. Users can register up to 10 guardians, who receive alerts by push notification and SMS or SMS only.

Humble Robotics unveils driverless Level 4 electric Class 8 \'Humble Hauler\'

Humble Robotics has unveiled the Humble Hauler, an electric autonomous freight platform that removes the driver’s seat entirely. The Class 8 platform targets closed or controlled logistics environments such as warehouses, rail yards and ports, focusing on repetitive hub-to-hub moves rather than long-haul highways. The modular design can be lengthened or shortened and supports multiple configurations. The company is running pilots with logistics and supply-chain firms and raised $24 million in seed funding led by Eclipse.
