KakaoGames runs \'Friends Game Land\' outreach event at Severance Rehabilitation Hospital
KakaoGames said on April 23 it held a \'Friends Game Land\' outreach event on April 22 at Severance Rehabilitation Hospital in Seoul for 70 child patients. The programme is part of its CSR efforts to bring game experiences to children and adolescents with limited access to game culture. Since last year it has worked with Save the Children. It has run events at the hospital for three straight years.

2026 World IT Show opens in Seoul showcasing latest ICT products and services
South Korea\'s Ministry of Science and ICT opened the 2026 World IT Show on Tuesday at COEX in Seoul. About 460 companies and institutions from 17 countries will showcase the latest ICT products and services through April 24. The event, themed around AI and physical AI, features four new special exhibition zones. Awards were presented to companies including Gaudio Lab and Law&Company, while conferences and buyer consultations were held in parallel.

LG Uplus revamps Sharing Mileage to expand employee social contribution
LG Uplus said on Thursday it has overhauled its in-house Sharing Mileage programme to expand employees’ voluntary participation in social contribution and upgrade how they take part and use accumulated mileage. The company said it clarified accrual standards and widened the scope of participation. Employees can exchange mileage for ESG-related goods or convert it into donations at 100 won per 1M, with new emphasis on making donation conversion easier.
