Baemin sends 5,000 meals to cheer National Youth Sports Festival athletes
Baedal Minjok sent 5,000 meal portions to young athletes competing in the 2026 National Youth Sports Festival in Busan as part of its Baemin Support Lunchbox campaign. Food trucks were placed at three venues offering pizza, fried chicken, tteokbokki and other items, while a B Mart truck provided seven daily necessities for free. Athletes said weight control and training made it hard to eat what they wanted, and some asked for malatang next year.

KakaoGames runs \'Friends Game Land\' outreach event at Severance Rehabilitation Hospital
KakaoGames said on April 23 it held a \'Friends Game Land\' outreach event on April 22 at Severance Rehabilitation Hospital in Seoul for 70 child patients. The programme is part of its CSR efforts to bring game experiences to children and adolescents with limited access to game culture. Since last year it has worked with Save the Children. It has run events at the hospital for three straight years.

2026 World IT Show opens in Seoul showcasing latest ICT products and services
South Korea\'s Ministry of Science and ICT opened the 2026 World IT Show on Tuesday at COEX in Seoul. About 460 companies and institutions from 17 countries will showcase the latest ICT products and services through April 24. The event, themed around AI and physical AI, features four new special exhibition zones. Awards were presented to companies including Gaudio Lab and Law&Company, while conferences and buyer consultations were held in parallel.
