SK AX, SAP expand cooperation to scale AI-native enterprise

SK AX said on Tuesday it signed a memorandum of understanding with SAP at the German software company\'s headquarters on cooperation for SAP Autonomous Suite and business AI. The company said the partnership centres on combining SAP technology with SK AX\'s accumulated capabilities in designing and operating industry-specific AX. The two companies said they expect productivity and decision-making speed to rise if enterprise operations, including ERP systems, are optimised with agentic AI.

Wrtn raises 100 billion won in Series C, valued at 1 trillion won

Wrtn Technologies said on Tuesday it raised 100 billion won in a Series C funding round, with the company valued at more than 1 trillion won. The company said it is the first domestic AI service startup to be valued above 1 trillion won. Total funding is about 230 billion won. New investors included Coreline Ventures and Eugene Asset Management. Wrtn said its North America platform OOC topped 10 billion won in monthly revenue within three months.

SKT Q2 operating profit jumps 67% on AI infrastructure growth

SK Telecom said its second-quarter operating profit rose sharply on base effects from last year\'s SIM replacement costs and growth in its AI infrastructure business. AI data centre revenue rose more than 90% from a year earlier. It plans to secure AI data centre customers early and increase investment via newly established wholly owned unit SK Hyper. The company also announced quarterly dividends of 830 won per share.
