NIA holds joint labor-management declaration ceremony for occupational safety and health management policy

The National Information Society Agency (NIA) held a declaration ceremony for its occupational safety and health management policy at its Seoul office on June 29, it said on Monday. The policy, part of a comprehensive labor safety plan, includes key tasks such as building an integrated safety management system for contractors and subcontractors and making workers’ right to stop work effective. The event was attended by the NIA president, a union leader and officials from partner companies.

NHN Cloud, NHN Dooray, DB Financial Investment sign strategic partnership

NHN Cloud, NHN Dooray and DB Financial Investment signed a strategic partnership to drive work innovation, the companies said on Monday. DB Financial Investment will introduce the all-in-one AI collaboration tool Dooray across the company, integrating email, projects, messaging, e-approvals and work management. The build will start in the second half and target an opening within the year. Dooray AI and a dedicated infrastructure separation service will also be applied.

KT Cloud launches cloud service targeting public institutions

KT Cloud said on June 29 it has completed a public cloud build applying its self-developed next-generation KT Cloud Platform. The company said the platform runs virtual servers and containers in one environment, using a Kubernetes-based OpenStack architecture for flexible deployment and operations. Public institutions can use linked multi-region and multi-AZ environments. KT Cloud said the setup supports disaster recovery and high availability requirements and also provides infrastructure for generative AI use.
