Small merchants\' Q1 sales and profit fall; loan delinquencies rise again

South Korean small merchants\' sales and profit both fell in the first quarter from the previous quarter, reflecting seasonal effects after year-end demand faded, Korea Credit Data said. Average sales per store rose from a year earlier but dropped sharply quarter on quarter, while profit and profit margin also declined. Meta launches \'Meta Business Agent\' to support customer service on WhatsApp, Instagram

Meta has launched an AI agent called Meta Business Agent that automates customer responses, product recommendations and booking handling on WhatsApp, Messenger and Instagram, CNBC reported on June 3. CEO Mark Zuckerberg said companies of any size would have agents to talk to customers and support operations. The agent is included in Meta One, a subscription service for businesses and creators, and large firms using WhatsApp Business pay usage-based fees.
