The session, held on Sept. 14, was led by attorney Jong-soo Yoon of Bae, Kim & Lee LLC under the theme of rising data leak risks and changing regulatory paradigms and response strategies. It covered shifts in the protection environment, building prevention systems, AI-era privacy direction, and work-related precautions.

A proposal has called for establishing trading standards and investor protection systems to expand financial products and services using digital assets. Speakers at a forum in Seoul discussed development directions and domestic tasks for digital-asset ETFs and on-chain asset management. They said clearer licensing rules, reliable price calculation, custody arrangements and mechanisms for creation and redemption are needed. Participants also raised the kimchi premium and risks in smart-contract vaults.
