FSC introduces inclusive finance evaluation for 17 banks, with up to 20 percent differentiated contributions

South Korea\'s financial authorities will introduce a system to comprehensively evaluate banks\' inclusive finance performance and apply differentiated contributions to the Korea Inclusive Finance Agency by up to 20 percent based on the results. The evaluation will reflect qualitative indicators such as lending rates and debt restructuring outcomes, not only the scale of funding. The authorities will also revamp non-performing loan management at financial public institutions to focus on debtors\' economic recovery rather than debt collection.
